About Us
Mother-Daughter Founders, Georgia and Zola Lobban co-created Zoila out of a need to empower young athletes lean into their inner strength, self-love and beauty in a world that can be highly competitive and leave many questioning their worth.
Zola, a level 6 USAG gymnast and self-directed learner alongside her mom, is learning more about her African heritage and enjoys paring her love of learning with her other passion - Gymnastics. She enjoys designing leotards for both dance and gymnastics with her mom.
Georgia is no stranger to shaping how youth of ethnic and multicultural descent are seen in the world. A few years ago she founded, Little Proud Kid, a multicultural book and toy online store allowing children of under-served races and cultures to see themselves in the books and toys they engage with.
Zoila Athletics allows this mother-daughter duo to combine their greatest strengths and passions to do something they love.
“Gymnastics is a sports of perfection. It’s important that young gymnasts and athletes in general are empowered to show up every day as themselves, flaws and all. We want athletes to feel bold, beautiful and strong in Zoila apparel. Everything we create from our logo to our African inspired prints are chosen with this in mind.” Georgia
